Thea Dunnett - Managing Director
Thea began her career as an analyst for a TMT corporate finance firm in
London, which specialised in mergers, acquisitions, public and private
equity fund raising. In 2005, she joined MarketClusters, a leading
innovator in information intelligence for the digital media sector.
She was a key player in the launch of the StrategyWire product to a
range of major media corporate in UK and the rest of Europe. Thea made
a move to GamblingCompliance in 2007 and was instrumental in the launch
of the website to global gambling operators, regulators and lawyers. Thea holds a B.A in History,
Economics and Politics and M.A in History and Economics from Royal
Holloway, University of London.
Ollie Wood - Sales Director
Ollie brings his passion, presence and personality to GamblingCompliance as Sales Director. He manages the sales and client support team to ensure acquisition of new clients as well as managing the existing client base of over 250+ clients. Ollie also devises and implement sales strategies that continues to secure profitable sales growth in line with corporate objectives. Ollie will contribute to the strategic development of GamblingCompliance as a voluble member of the management team. Prior to GamblingCompliance, Ollie worked in sales for over 13 years starting off in retail and working his way up to a management position running multiple stores and driving the sales of new products. He has a demonstrable track record of success in developing, managing and training sales teams.
Andrew Gellately - Editorial Director
Andrew Gellatly has an extensive background in covering technology, gambling and sport. He wrote the Financial Times’s
special report on the global gaming industry and has been a regular FT
contributor on sport, gaming and technology for FT Digital Business. He
was the founding editor of IGaming Business magazine and Sport Betting Update – a weekly international email newsletter published by Press Association and author of ATE’s market intelligence report Russia: Opportunities in Gaming (2005).
Harry Ashton - Head of Legal and Research
Harry is a solicitor with extensive litigation and legal research experience who is admitted to practice in Australia and England. He is responsible for managing Gambling Compliance’s legal research team which is made up of 7 lawyers from across the globe as well as supervising and drafting regulatory reports and research projects. He has overseen a number of customised research projects - ranging from due diligence reports on specific markets, submissions for government inquiries, and comparative studies for both government and industry participants. He recently co-authored the ‘European Online Gambling Study 2009’, a white paper released by GamblingCompliance.
