Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd. yesterday committed to spend an additional HK$800m to open additional rooms at its new resort's launch as strong VIP spend saw the company’s underlying profitability surge.
Stanley Ho’s SJM Holdings said yesterday that the company’s profits increased by 364 percent year-on-year in the first six months of 2010, to HK$1.57 bn.
