Two recent referrals from the Administrative Court of Gießen mean that seven German sports betting cases have now been sent to the European Court of Justice in little over a year. According to one expert, the ECJ will most likely combine the individual cases, as it did in Placanica, and opt to preside over all of them simultaneously in what could be hugely significant ruling.
