Rome Court Decision Delays Punti Remoti Ban

An administrative court in Rome has ruled that a decree effectively outlawing Punti Remoti outlets cannot come into effect in January 2008 as scheduled. The case will be re-heard in March of next year but the ruling is a setback to licensed betting operators hoping to witness the prompt removal of their unauthorised competitors.
