Following staff cuts and a string of recent customer complaints about hotel standards, the New Jersey Casino Control Commission has refused to grant a full casino licence to the new owners of the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. The decision is proof of New Jersey’s very individual approach to regulating hospitality in Atlantic City’s casino industry.
