IOC Softens Gambling Stance For 2012 Games

The International Olympic Committee has agreed to soften its stance on gambling, opening the way for bookmakers to take bets on the London 2012 games and surround the event with marketing campaigns. Tough controls on gambling by participants are expected to remain however.
