IBAS, the Independent Betting Adjudication Service, is set to adjudicate disputes over gaming machines in the UK’s betting shops. But while new arrangement solves an immediate problem for bookmakers who need to demonstrate the existence of third party arbitration, it is far from clear what practical results the process will achieve for disgruntled players.
