Hundreds of gambling regulators and executives from around the world gathered recently in Las Vegas to grapple with the sweeping changes technology is making in the casino industry. While the new advances have the potential to dramatically boost profits, if not introduced properly, panelists at the recent Gaming Laboratories International conference agreed, they could produce a customer backlash.
