The dispute over multiple premises licences, being fought out between UK’s Gambling Commission and the industry it oversees, continues to escalate. Nevertheless there may yet be an opportunity to address the underlying grievance that concerns the failure of the regulations to establish a level playing field when it comes to machine entitlements.
