The fate of bookmaker Betshop, their investors Leisure & Gaming, and technology providers such as Microgame, hangs on the outcome of a case heard yesterday in Rome’s administrative courts. Both operators stand to lose out dramatically if their legal challenge to the authorities’ change of rules regarding internet support outlets, heard at the Rome courts yesterday, were to fail.
