Rhode Island’s 24hr Gambling Spuring Regional Rivalry

Rhode Island lawmakers have given the green light to 24-hour gambling on the weekends at its two big slot machine venues. The decision to up the ante is, in turn, expected to put more pressure on neighbouring Connecticut and Massachusetts, both of which are feeling the pinch from their sister state’s gambling moves.
