Peru’s recent successes in submitting slot machine and casino operators to more stringent technical regulations should serve as a model to other Latin American jurisdictions, according to the president of the Peruvian Gaming Association. Other countries in the region are already following Peru’s plans to introduce an interconnected online monitoring system for all gaming machines.
