Pennsylvanian slot machine parlours may allow smoking in up to 50 percent of gaming areas under anti-smoking legislation finally approved by lawmakers this week. The carve-out, coming after a year-long debate on the issue, is certain to cause concern across the Delaware River in Atlantic City, where casinos will be forced to go entirely smoke-free later this year.
