The executive director of Bolivia’s National Lottery has been sacked over an allegedly fraudulent contract extension awarded to a Bolivian gaming machine operator. The sacking comes just days after the former director personally promised a continued crackdown on illegal slot machines swamping the Bolivian gaming market.
