Details are beginning to emerge of a much vaunted acquisition that Playtech has said it hopes to complete within months. At the publication of its half-year results yesterday the company also confirmed the name of the second Italian poker licensee to go live, and released first-half figures that showed pre-tax profits rising 45 percent to $38m.
