The New South Wales Office for Liquor, Racing and Gaming has told Northern Territory-based Centrebet it will not seek to enforce the state’s ban on advertising by out-of-state wagering services pending the outcome of a legal challenge launched in July by Betfair and Sportingbet. The news follows a major cabinet shake-up in NSW earlier this month.
