Venezuela Softens Anti-Gambling Stance

Venezuela’s Tourism Ministry has issued a new decree reaffirming a prohibition on new licences for casinos, bingo halls or slot machine parlours in the country. However, the decree will allow incumbent operators to renew their current licences if they can demonstrate compliance with a wide range of regulatory and tax requirements.
