World Snooker Enlists Betfair In Anti-Corruption Campaign

World Snooker on Wednesday signed an official memorandum of understanding with online betting exchange Betfair to share information to identify individuals in the event of unusual betting activity on snooker matches. The move comes as the sport steps up anti-corruption efforts in the wake of a new match-fixing probe and the withdrawal of sponsors from major events.
