The Mohegan appear well placed to ride out the recent economic slowdown in the gaming industry.  By signing a 99-year land lease in Massachusetts, the tribe are hoping the new Democrat government will facilitate the legalization of gaming in that state, and allow for the expansion of their gaming brand into Massachusetts.
