Hard on the heels of official confirmation that Australia’s Productivity Commission is to publish a whole-scale review of the effectiveness of Australian gambling regulation next year, the chief executive of gaming giant Tabcorp has called for the federal government in Canberra to assume regulatory authority over wagering if issues of interstate competition cannot be addressed.
