As Markets Boom, Gambling Operators Back Spanish Politicians In Calls For Online Regulation

A lobbying group of private operators has petitioned the Spanish government to fast-track the introduction of new national regulations for internet gambling in Spain after research showed that the currently unregulated market generated revenues of at least €200m last year. The move follows similar pleas made by Spain’s main opposition party last December.
