Stepping up an ongoing war of words, casino mogul Stanley Ho has called
on the Macau government to confiscate and re-tender the two plots of
Cotai Strip land where Las Vegas Sands (LVS) indefinitely suspended its
planned construction activities late last year. Ho has also taken issue
with LVS’s attempts to cover ‘tightening’ leverage covenants in Macau
via the sale of real estate assets.
