Two researchers at the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis have supplied more ammunition for the opponents of casino smoking bans, rolling out a recent paper that charts some of the revenue losses the gambling industry – and the tax man – have taken in the wake of a January 2008 law barring smoking in virtually all public indoor spaces in Illinois.
