Estonia is overhauling its gambling regime and recently sent its draft law to the European Commission for notification, with a standstill period placed on the implementation of the new law until mid-June.Gambling addiction has risen and that the justification for the law is to decrease the demand for gambling, and to prevent and limit gambling's possible negative economic and social consequences.
