South Africa’s parliamentary sub committee on gambling will today begin an in-depth discussion of the regulations that are set to shape the country’s new internet gambling laws. Among the subjects under debate will be the number of licences to be issued, the levels of taxation and the barriers to entry that foreign operators might face.
