The National Football League (NFL) and National Basketball Association (NBA) have signed up with Christian right-wing interest groups in attempts to derail Congressman Barney Frank’s proposal to license and regulate online gaming, claiming that online gambling “...threatens to undermine the integrity of American sports". However, recent events within the NFL and MBA have led observers to question that integrity.
