John Hemming, MP for Birmingham Yardley, has filed an Early Day Motion requesting that the Government considers exempting bingo clubs from VAT in order to offset the effects of the impending smoking ban in England. Gala has become the latest operator to publicly anticipate the closure of several of its clubs.
