The original deadline for the US Federal Reserve (USFR) to issue regulations for the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has already expired but observers suggest that the scale of the challenge the USFR faces in balancing the financial interests of banks with the law enforcement appetite of the Department of Justice (DoJ) means that the regulations should not be expected for some time yet.
