The Illinois House Gaming Committee will meet next Wednesday to discuss a controversial Bill to expand gambling in the state to fund a massive US$13bn infrastructure project. Opponents are concerned about the morality of the scheme but fears are also growing over the proposals to create a new regulator separate from the state gaming board.
