The decision by Nevada regulators to reject new kiosks that take debit card payments in exchange for tickets to play slots has proven there can be such a thing as too much gambling, even in Vegas. However, the debate, which pitted free market technology advocates against fundamental regulatory concerns, could cool enthusiasm for change in other jurisdictions too.
